12/21/2021 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. DECEMBER 21, 2021 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others present: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Carly Brettmann, <br />Communications Director; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Ken <br />Grannan, Airport Director; Mandy Buchholz, Administrative <br />Supervisor; and Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor. PUBLIC HEARING AMEND 2021 BUDGET AUDITOR <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />amending the 2021 County budget. <br /> JUDY PLESS, BUDGET & FINANCE MANAGER, reviewed a Staff Report and <br />proposed amendments to the 2021 budget, in the amount of <br />$8,325,465.00. She noted there had not been much of a hit taken to <br />the fund balance with the amendments. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2021-193 AMEND 2021 BUDGET AUDITOR VICE-CHAIRMAN OSAIDACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2021-193, <br />Amending the 2021 Budget. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING AERONAUTICAL LEASE LOTS H-15B & H-43 AIRPORT <br />At 2:03 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Aeronautical Leases for Lots H-15B and H-43. <br /> KEN GRANNAN, AIRPORT MANAGER, reviewed proposed Leases for Lot H-43 <br />by Fred Benson who intends on building a private box hangar, and Lot <br />H-15B with Linda and Mark Merrill with their intent to also build a <br />private box hangar. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
