Dede Utley <br />moved to approve the March 18, 2021 Board of Health meeting minutes. Cory Wright second. All <br />approved. Motion 04-01 carried to approve the March 18, 2021 Board of Health meeting minutes. <br />Public Comment Opened at 10:02 am <br />Public Comment Closed at 10:02 am <br />BOHAC Update <br />Tristen Lamb informed the board that there had not been a BOHAC meeting since the last Board of <br />Health, but that they will be convening on May 3rd to select the 2021 Public Health Champion, and to <br />have a meet and greet with BOH member Dede Utley. <br />Department updates <br />Director's Report <br />Tristen Lamb gave updates regarding Engrossed Second Substitute House Bill 1152. The biggest impact <br />this bill will have on Kittitas County would be either the expansion of the Board of Health, or creating a <br />more robust BOHAC. <br />Ms. Lamb also updated the board on staffing and offices shifting within the department. <br />There were questions regarding a recommendation to either expand BOH or BOHAC. There was no <br />recommendation yet, as more clarifying information and research is needed. <br />
