KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 6, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Advertise a Request for Proposals for the <br />"Kittitas County Department of Public Works Bridge <br />Maintenance Repairs 2021 — 2023." <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County has a need to supplement our road <br />maintenance capabilities with contractors providing bridge <br />maintenance support to implement needed repairs identified <br />during the annual bridge inspection process. Public Works <br />is requesting to solicit private contractors for interest in <br />providing extra support specifically related to grout and <br />concrete repairs to the bridge structures. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize advertising for service proposals from area <br />contractors supporting Public Works bridge maintenance <br />repairs as needed task order basis for 2021 — 2023. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Request for Proposals <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
