(via WebEx) <br /> <br />Others Via WebEx: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy <br />Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk <br />of the Board I; Lisa Young, HR Director; Clay Myers, Sheriff; Judy <br />Pless, Budget & Finance Manager and one member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendars. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved the County Vouchers and <br />PAF’s. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Correspondence Log for the week ending October 2, 2020 was <br />presented. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION PUBLIC RELATIONS ADMIN POSTING SHERIFF <br /> <br />Clay Myers, Sherriff discussed concerns and suggested language for <br />the Board to consider in lieu of what was proposed for the Public <br />Relations Administrator Job Description (*during emergency/disaster <br />situations, manage the dissemination of prompt, accurate public <br />information in coordination with other County Public Information <br />Officers). There was discussion on preferred language and the Board <br />and Sheriff came to an agreement on the following language: During <br />Emergency Disaster situations, to coordinate with the Emergency <br />Operations Center in the dissemination of prompt accurate, public <br />information and provide assistance to the PIO as determined by the <br />Incident Commander as needed. The BoCC & Sheriff felt that would <br />take care of the Sheriff’s concerns. Ms. Young stated that they can <br />review that with whoever is selected to fill the open position. <br />
