10/05/2020 MINUTES 2 <br />LETTER AMENDMENT TO ENGAGEMENT LETTER AUDITOR <br /> <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager presented the Board with an <br />amendment to the State Auditor letter. She stated that they had to <br />add an additional ten hours to correct some figures. Chairman <br />Wachsmith moved to authorize and approve Chair signature on an <br />Amendment ($1,200.00) to the Engagement Letter with the State <br />Auditor as presented. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT PSA – KITTITAS CO./ACCURATE ELECTRIC SHERIFF <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Board signature on a <br />Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County Jail and <br />Accurate Electric Unlimited for the replacement of 39 cameras. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board determined for the week of October 5, 2020 they would post <br />on their Facebook page, the Press Release for Law & Justice Grants <br />as well as the Press Release for the Canvassing Board’s public <br />meeting for the November 3 General Election for the Logic and <br />Accuracy Test of the ballot counting program on 10/6/20 at 10:00 <br />a.m.; noting that they would leave one opening to see if the County <br />Auditor had any election information he would like them to share. <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright questioned how long the County needs to remain <br />in a State of Emergency. Commissioner Osiadacz and Chairman <br />Wachsmith stated that the Board had a meeting the previous week and <br />it was discussed at that time. Clay Myers, Sheriff stated that he <br />would have the IMT do a full broad analysis & report back to the <br />Board. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright stated that he has been working with the School <br />Districts to obtain what costs they have incurred to re-open. <br /> <br />There was a brief discussion and concerns were shared regarding the <br />forum on Law & Justice being held Tuesday October 6th 2020, regarding <br />OPMA violation if the Board attended and the guidance they had been <br />given from Legal. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:27 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />
