KITTTTAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />May 19, 2020 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the <br />2020 Annual Paint Stripe Program Contract. <br />BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works solicited bids <br />for the 2020 Annual Paint Stripe Program in <br />accordance with RCW 39.04.155, Small Works <br />Roster Contract Procedures. Sealed Bids were <br />opened on May 11, 2020. <br />Two (2) bids was received for the prescribed <br />work. The lowest responsive bid was from <br />Stripe Rite, Inc., in the amount of $253,496.70. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Award the 2020 <br />Annual Paint Stripe Program Contract and <br />authorize the Director of Public Works to sign <br />said contract documents. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />Bid Tabulations <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director <br />
