DECEMBER 19, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell and Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning <br />Official; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance <br />Manager; Liz Whitaker, Community Health Supervisor; and 2 members of <br />the public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AMEND 2017 COUNTY BUDGET AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN JEWELL opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Amending the 2017 County Budget. <br /> <br />JUDY PLESS, BUDGET & FINANCE MANAGER provided a Staff Report and <br />reviewed the 2017 proposed budget amendments in the total amount of <br />$8,013,256.00. <br /> <br />CHAIRMAN JEWELL expressed concerns with the Event Center’s budget <br />and said he would like to have it audited to see if the amendments <br />were authorized prior to purchasing. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-195 AMEND 2017 COUNTY BUDGET AUDITOR <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2017-195, <br />Amending the 2017 County Budget in the total amount of <br />$8,013,256.00. CHAIRMAN JEWELL seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING 2017 ANNUAL COMP. PLAN AMENDMENTS CDS <br /> <br />At 2:20 p.m. CHAIRMAN JEWELL opened a Public Hearing to consider the <br />2017 Annual Docket Amendments to the Kittitas County Code. <br /> <br />DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR provided a Staff Report and reviewed eight <br />items considered for amendment which are all in the Kittitas County <br />Code. Individual Docket items were reviewed and the Board allowed <br />an opportunity for public comments following each item. <br /> <br />DOCKET ITEM 1 – EVENT PERMITS: <br />
