KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />PUBLIC HEARING STAFF REPORT <br />PUBLIC HEARING DATE: October 16, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider the Placement <br />of a Stop Sign at the Intersection of Meadow Way <br />(MP 0.0) at Sparks Road and Amend Kittitas <br />County Code 10. 12.010 <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, the Board of County Commissioners <br />established Meadow Way onto the Public Road <br />network under Resolution 2018-151. The County <br />Engineer has determined that a stop sign on <br />Meadow Way at Sparks Road is in the best interest <br />of public safety. A red -line markup of KCC <br />10. 12.010 is provided for Board consideration. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Place the requested stop sign on Meadow Way (MP <br />0.0) at the intersection of Sparks Road and amend <br />KCC 10.12.010. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance; Red -line copy of KCC Code 10.12.010 <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
