BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF HITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE No. 2018 - <br />PLACEMENT OF A STOP SIGN AT MEADOW WAY AND AMENDING SECTION 10.12.010 OF <br />THE HITTITAS COUNTY CODE <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners recently placed Meadow Way onto <br />the public road network under Resolution 2018-151; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Engineer has determined that placing a stop sign at the intersection of <br />Meadow Way and Sparks Road is in the best interest of public safety; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners did hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October <br />16`h, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. to hear public testimony regarding the placement a of stop sign on <br />Meadow Way at Sparks Road; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED That the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners, after <br />due deliberation and in the best interest of the public, does hereby place a stop sign on Meadow Way at the <br />intersection of Sparks Road and amend Kittitas County Code Section 10. 12.010 as indicated in Exhibit A. <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED That this ordinance will become effective upon the installation of the stop <br />sign. <br />ADOPTED this 16th day of October, 2018. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
