Acknowledgement of Federal Funding <br />Federal Award Date: 3-27-2023 <br />Federal Award Identification Number (FAIN): 53-20-B219N-4 <br />Federal Awarding Agency: US Department of Commerce <br />Total amount of federal funds obligated to this Subrecipient for this program: $24,681,257 <br />Awarding official: Sarah Clifthorne, Interim Director (360) 789-1275 <br /> <br />Unless otherwise specifically authorized herein, the budget period start and end dates shall be the same <br />as the start and end dates on the Face Sheet. <br />The Subrecipient agrees that any publications (written, visual, or sound) but excluding press releases, <br />newsletters, and issue analyses, issued by the Subrecipient describing programs or projects funded in <br />whole or in part with federal funds under this Contract, shall contain the following statements: <br />“This project was supported by Grant No. 53-20-B219N-4 awarded by US Department of the Commerce. <br />Points of view in this document are those of the author and do not necessarily represent the official position <br />or policies of the US Department of Commerce. Grant funds are administered by the Infrastructure <br />Investment and Jobs Act, Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, Washington State <br />Department of Commerce.” <br />The Subrecipient has four years to construct from the execution date of this Contract. The clock starts after <br />the completion of construction for the 10-year federal interest period for reporting and providing a low-cost <br />service option during this time. <br /> <br />2. Contract Management <br />The Representative for each of the parties shall be responsible for and shall be the contact person for all <br />communications and billings regarding the performance of this Contract. <br />The Representative for COMMERCE and their contact information are identified on the Face Sheet of this <br />Contract. <br />The Representative for the Subrecipient and their contact information are identified on the Face Sheet of <br />this Contract. <br /> <br />3. Compensation <br />COMMERCE shall pay an amount not to exceed the total Contract amount listed on the contract Face <br />Sheet for all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work as set forth in the Scope of Work.
