<br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT-BOWERS FIELD <br />GROUND LEASE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This Airport Ground Lease (hereinafter “LEASE”) is made and entered into as of the ____ day <br />of ______, 2026, by and between KITTITAS COUNTY, a Washington Municipal Corporation <br />(hereinafter “LESSOR”) and Department of Natural Resources, a Washington Municipal <br />Corporation. (hereinafter “LESSEE” or “Tenant”). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />A. WHEREAS, LESSOR owns the Kittitas County Regional Airport-Bowers Field (ELN) <br />(hereinafter “AIRPORT”) which is operated by the Kittitas County, <br /> <br />B. WHEREAS, LESSOR has approved property available for lease as provided by this <br />LEASE and LESSEE desires to lease, occupy and use such property in accordance with this <br />LEASE, <br /> <br />C. WHEREAS, LESSEE desires to lease the property described herein for the purpose of <br />conducting business related to all aspects of the Department of Natural Resources as that term is <br />defined herein; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises herein and the benefit to be <br />derived by each party, the parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />A. Prior Lease: <br /> <br />LESSOR previously entered into that certain lease dated May 11, 1977 for that portion of <br />the airport described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. The 1977 Lease was subsequently amended by “Addendum to Lease” dated <br />March 3, 2020. Upon full execution of this, the new Lease, the 1977 Lease, as amended, is <br />terminated as of the date hereof. <br /> <br />B. Lease: <br /> <br />1. PREMISES: <br /> <br />LESSOR hereby leases to LESSEE and LESSEE hereby leases from LESSOR that <br />portion of the AIRPORT depicted on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference, which property is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />
