June 5th, 2026
Kittitas County Auditor, Bryan Elliott
205 West 5th Street, Room 105
Ellensburg, WA 98926
C.R. Wales Investments LLC, Ryan Wales
PO Box 1681
Ellensburg, WA 98926
RE: Bowling Alley Lease
To Whom It May Concern:
Regarding the bowling alley lease section E, item number 1, which specifies that the grand
opening of the facility is within 18 months, we are requesting an extension of this timeline due to
the following uncontrollable and/or unforeseen circumstances.
Our vendor, Brunswick, is the only bowling alley equipment manufacturer that can
supply the equipment needed to complete this project. Brunswick began installation in
the middle of May 2026 and is expected to be completed by the beginning to middle of
August 2026.
• Arcade equipment has been ordered and will be arriving for installation mid summer.
• An application for a liquor and gambling license has been submitted to the State of
Washington; however, it is currently on hold until Brunswick completes installation, as
completion of the facility is a requirement for final license approval.
Our goal is to have the facility running and open as soon as Brunswick completes their
installation. While we are targeting late summer 2026, we are asking Kittitas County to extend
the grand opening requirement to November 5th, 2026. Please let us know if you have any
questions and thank you for the opportunity to bring this project to the finish line for our
community.
Sincerely,
Vv
Ryan Wales
C.R. Wales Investments LLC, Managing Member
