Project Desription: The Ellensburg Rodeo Grandstands Project is a large-scale infrastructure initiative designed to enhance both the spectator experience and safety at the historic Ellensburg Rodeo and the many year-round events held at the Kittitas Valley Event Center (KVEC). The project includes the demolition of aging structures-including seating sections AA through J.l, the catwalk, restrooms, and Behind-the-Chutes areas-and the construction of modern, accessible, and code-compliant grandstands with expanded restrooms, upgraded concessions, improved lighting, and safer, more efficient pedestrian circulation. This redevelopment enhances safety, accessibility, and functionality while preserving the venue's historic character.
