ii. Quiet hours are established by KCC 9.45. During this time noise <br /> Levels shall not exceed 80 decibels. <br /> iii. In the event of a code enforcement or law enforcement complaint, <br /> noise reports shall be provided as requested in writing by Kittitas <br /> County Community Development Services within 30 days of the <br /> request. <br /> iv. Installation of a noise monitoring device with the following <br /> minimum characteristics. <br /> a. Privacy safe- does not record video or audio of guests. <br /> b. Capable of active decibel monitoring during quiet hours. <br /> c. Reporting function that alerts the STR manager immediately <br /> of violations and provides reports of past data. <br /> d. Installed in the closest available location to any primary <br /> exterior communal gathering area. <br /> e. Noise monitoring device must remain operational while the <br /> STR is being rented. <br /> 17.63.060 Violations. <br /> 1. Noise Violations. Noise violations during quiet hours shall be enforced using the <br /> following tiered system based on the required monitoring device: <br /> a. InitialTier—Approved Class 2 Noise Monitoring Device Confirmed Noise <br /> Violations documented by data from the required Approved Class 2 Noise <br /> Monitoring Device shall be handled as follows: <br /> i. First Confirmed Noise Violation—Warning letter issued. <br /> ii. Second Confirmed Noise Violation—Compliance letter. <br /> iii. Third Confirmed Noise Violation—Compliance letter and written notice <br /> requiring upgrade to a Class 1 Sound Level Meter within 30 days. <br /> b. Post-Upgrade Tier—Class 1 Sound Level Meter After the required upgrade to a <br /> Class 1 Sound Level Meter.
