07/13/2026 MINUTES 2 <br />Tax Grants Announcements. <br /> <br />RATIFY LETTER TO WA ST RECREATION CO COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and ratify Board signature on <br />a letter of support to the Washington State Recreation and <br />Conservation Office. Vice-Chairman Wachsmith seconded. Motion <br />carried 2-0. <br /> <br />DIRECTION FIRE DIST #4 ANNEXATION REQUEST AUDITOR <br /> <br />Sue Higginbotham, Chief Administrator, reviewed a Certificate of <br />Sufficiency for the requested annexation of an area in and around <br />28001 Vantage Hwy. She reviewed the documents they received and <br />outlined the process and options the Board has. The Board determined <br />they would proceed with a Resolution allowing the annexation in lieu <br />of the Public Hearing and directed Staff to work with the <br />Prosecutor’s Office to prepare the document. <br /> <br />REQUEST NOISE WAIVER – McCLURE AND SONS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator, presented a request for a <br />Noise Waiver from McClure and Sons, INC., requesting a noise waiver <br />for July 21, 2026 from 4:30 a.m.to 6:00 p.m. to allow for <br />construction work to be performed at 932 Hyak Drive East, Snoqualmie <br />Pass, WA 98068. She stated that the Sheriff’s Office reviewed the <br />request and stated there were no concerns. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />moved to approve the request as presented. Vice-Chairman Wachsmith <br />seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />LETTER LETTER OF SUPPORT CENTRAL TRANSIT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Vice-Chair <br />signature on a letter to Betsy Dunbar Transit Manager with <br />Ellensburg Central Transit in support of the WSDOT 2027-2029 <br />Consolidated Grant Program application. Vice-Chairman Wachsmith <br />seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION RCW 42.30.110 (I) COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:17 a.m. Vice-Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would <br />recess into an Executive Session for 5 minutes, with the BoCC and <br />Miko Tempski, Deputy Prosecutor III, under RCW 42.30.110 (i) To <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating <br />to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official <br />capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge <br />regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or <br />financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated.
