Only those Incarcerated Individuals who have been convicted may be reguired to work. Section 5.08 Rules. The Receiving Jurisdiction shall notify the Sending furisdiction Incarcerated hdividuals upon arrival of the rules of the jurisdiction and the specific rules of the Facility. lrcarcerated Individuals will be required to follow all rules of the Receiving Jurisdiction. Section S.fi)Discipline, The Receiving ]urisdiction shall provide disciplinary detention to the Sending Jurisdiction lncarcerated Individuals at the discretion of the Receiving ]urisdiction, The Receiving furisdiction may require the Sending Jurisdiction to retake any lncarcerated ]:rdividual found guilty of a seriousinfraction; similarly, the Reeeiving Juriscliction may require the Sending Jurisdiction to retake any Incatcerated trdividual whose behavior requires segregated or protective housing. Section 5,10 MonthlyReports. The Receiving |urisdiction institution housing the sending Jurisdiction Incarcerated Individuals shall provide montlrly repolts to each Sending |urisdiction on the number of Incarcerated hdivicluals housed for the Sending Jurisdiction under the Cornpact. Section 5.11 Notification of Coordinator. The Receiving furisdiction shal1 notily the Sending Jurisdiction of identity of the Receiving Jurisdiction coordinator responsible for administering the Compact. Should the coordinator be absent for an extended period of time, the coordinator shall arrange for, and notify the Sending |urisdiction in writing, of the alternate contact person during the coordinator's absence. Section 5.12 Legal Costs. The Receiving ]urisdiction shall bear legal costs relating to the defense of actions arising from events that occur at the Receiving ]urisdiction institution while the lrcatcerated Individual is in the Receiving Jurisdiction's custody. Section 5.13 Facility Operations. The Receiving jurisdictionls management of Lrcatcerated Individuals in the Facility shall be consistent with the management of other Incarcerated Individuals at the Facili$ and in accord.ance with current legal requirements. The Receiving |urisdiction sha1l maintain staffing levels at the Facility in sufficient numbers and rank to maintain the safety of the public, staff, and Incarcerated Individuals and to adequately carry out the provisions of this agreement. Section5.14 ReliglousOpportunity. The Receiving Jurisdiction shall provide adequate space and opportunity within the Facility for religious setvices, Section5,15 Telephone.
