ALtexpenses must be necessary and directl'y <br />retated to the scope of work as outtined in Exhibit A. contractor witL refer to their approved <br />budget document submitted through the funding request process for [ine-item expenses' <br />Any changes or updates to the budget must be approved by Kittitas county through the <br />appointed contract manager in advance of the expenditure, in writing' <br />Al.towabte Program Pool. Support expenses must be expenses that are incurred whil'e <br />directly supporting the scope of work in Exhibit A' General' operations costs that do not <br />directl.y suppoft the scope of work in Exhibit A are not considered all'owabl'e as Program Poo[ <br />Support costs. <br />Administrative/indirect costs are timited to expenses incurred for common or joint purposes <br />and in support of al.L programs. These costs Inctude, but are not I'imited to' salaries for <br />administrative staff time, util,ities, buitding rent and maintenance, tel'ephone and internet <br />service, and other such expenses that are necessary to support the contractor as a whote' <br />The purchase of food orbeverages, ctothing, and incentives is notan attowable expense' <br />untess authorization is received by l(ittitas County in advance of the expenditure, in writing' <br />Any uses of these funds outside of the l,isted atl.owabl.e uses must be approved by Kittitas <br />County in advance of the expenditure, in writing' <br />Aitfunding is based on [ocaI tax and fee revenue. lf tocal, economic conditions resutt in <br />insufficient funds to compenSate at the stated leve[s, the County reserves the right to <br />renegotiate funding amounts to remain within availabl'e revenue batances' The countywitL <br />notify the contractor immediatel.y if financial, forecasting or actuats indicate such a <br />circumstance. <br />Att funds must be spent by 12131/2026.
