The following describes the anticipated scope of work Natural
Waters will be assisting KCPW on for this task order.
Task 1. Project Management and Meetings
Natural Waters will participate in various meetings with the project team. Coordination and
project updates will happen throughout project.
Assumptions: Up to 16 hours is available for Task 1. This assumes work will occur between June
2025 and December 3t,2025.
Task 2. Geomorphology, Hydrology and Hydraulics
Natural Waters will perform the following geomorphology, hydrology and hydraulics tasks in
collaboration with the KCPW and Jacobs team.
Task 2.1 Field Reconnaissance's
Natural Waters will conduct field reconnaissance's with KCPW, Jacobs and WDFW staff to
examine th.e characteristics of the creek, various culverts, and surrounding riparian corridor with
respect to hydraulic, erosion, and scour processes. The purpose of the field reconnaissance's is
to understand site hydraulics and channel conditions, with an emphasis on determining an
appropriate structure span, creek alignment and potential scour countermeasures for the
proposed crossing. Field measurements will include characterizing sediment size, estimating
channel/floodplain roughness, assessment of existing scour protection, documenting evidence
of erosion, identification of high-water marks, and other relevant information to aid in the
assessment and design of the proposed Hungry Junction water crossing.
Assumptions:
. up to three site visits are budgeted to assess the project site.
o Up to 20 hours is available for Task 2.1.
