Project Tasks and Deliverables The project will unfold in four phases: 1. Community Outreach and Engagement (Jan 2A25-Jun2025): KCPHD will form a stakeholder advisory group, including residents and environmental advocates' Tfuough meetings, focus groups, and surveys, diverse community input will be collected' Deliverable: Stakeholder group and initial outreach plan. 2. Data Collection and Needs Assessment (Jul-Oct 2025): Surveys, interviews, and focus groups will assess community air quality concerns. outreach will target underrepresented groups to ensure equitable participation. Deliverable: Needs assessment report summarizing community input' 3. Design of Emission Reduction Projects (Nov-Apr 2026): KCpHD will collaborate with the oommunity to design emissions reduction strategies based on collected data' Workshops and technical analysis will guide the design process' Deliverable: Draft plans for emissions reduction strategies' 4. Finalization and Reporting (May-Oct 2026): Final project designs will be completed, and a report will be prepared for the community and funders' Deliverable: Finalized project plans and a comprehensive report. Expected Outcomes The projeet will result in actionable, community-designed emissions reduction plans that target key air quality concems It will improve air quality, health, and awareness among Ellensburg residents, particularly vulnerable groups' Organizational Capacity KCpHD has extensive experience in community health and environmental projects' We have partnered with organizations like HopeSource and FISH Food Bank on initiatives such as the cold weather sheher program and COVID-19 qlarantine services. We track milestones and report progress using EAGL' as demonstrated in our Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance (LSWFA) grant. Our department manages multiple grants and revenue sffeams, with dedicated staffoverseeing financial management, ensuring responsible fund allocation and reporting. Environmental Justice The project prioritizes environmentai justice by ensuring meaningful involvement of alt Ellensburg residents, regardless of race, income, or background. Community input will guide the distribution of resources and development of air quality solutions, targeting those disproportionately impacted by air pollution. This approach will help reduce health disparities and environmental burdens. Community Engagement KCpHD's Health promotions division will lead outreach through email, phone, social medi4 and in-person meetings' We also advertise events via radio, newspapers, and web platforms. Surveys, focus groups, and interviews will gather community input, supported by our Assessment Coordinator and Epidemiologist, who have experience leading public health assessments. In-person events will be held at ADA-accessible venues, like libraries and community centers, and will be supplemented with virtual options to ensure inclusivity' Template Version I 2ll012020
