Through outreach, data collection, and collaboration, <br />the project will prioritize environmental justice and create sustainable emission reduction plans. <br />Project Lone Description; <br />Community-Led Air Quality Improvement for Ellensburg <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) proposes a six month- two year project depending upon funding <br />availability, starting in Jan2025,to reduce criteria air pollutants----carbon monoxide, lead, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur <br />dioxide, ozone, and particulate matter-in Ellensburg, an overburdened community' The project emphasizes community <br />involvement to design emissions reduction strategies that reflect local priorities.
