Personally ldentlflable lnformatlon (Pll) <br />Pll is only vlsible io users wlth lnvestlgatorlevel access and only when the repo*er has voluntarily provided such <br />intorrnation. All users with access to Pll must: <br />r Treat such informatlon as highly confldential and use it strictly for investlgalive coordination within tho scopa <br />of their role;e Refraln from contacting survivors or reporters unless logally authorized and nece$sary Jor an actlve <br />invesligaiion;o Never include Pll in extemal communicatlon$, case files, or rhared databases without proper authorization <br />and lndependent vsriflcation through lawful meang. <br />9.3. S urvivor-Ce ntsrod and Tra uma-lnformed Approach <br />The Agency agrees to uphold sullvor-centered pracilcos by: <br />c Prioritizing the safety, dignity, and autonomy of lndlviduals whose lnformatlon may be contained wlthln the <br />system;r dvoiding ac{ions that may rotraurnatlze or re+xploii survivors, including unnecess€ry sharing or speculative <br />investigation based on unverified or anecdokl report content; <br />r Ensuring that access to ssneilive content is strictly limited to individuals who have a legitimate lnvestigative <br />need;r Uslng dlscreflon and compasslon ln interpretlng and respondlng to narrative contsnt, induding signs of <br />dlstrees, coerdon, or lncomplete dlsdosures. <br />9.4. Platform Boundarlee and Legal Use <br />lnformation obtained lhrough Simply Report: <br />May not be used to establish probable cause, justi$ search or arrsst warrants, or serve as evldenliary <br />content in legal procoedings unloss the informstion is independently conoborated thmugh lawful <br />investigative mean$. ln emergency or exigenl circumstances where public safety or victlm recovery is at <br />imrnediate risk, lirnited reliance on report oontent to initiate protective or praventive action may be permitted, <br />provided it is consistent with the agenct's lavuful procedures and promptly documsnted. <br />a
