<br />2026-02-23 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />IT STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MONDAY 11:00 AM February 23, 2026 <br />Board Members Present: Chairman Cory Wright, Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith, <br />Commissioner Laura Osiadacz <br />Others: IT Director Doug Fessler, Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney, Infrastructure Manager <br />Bill Davis, Administrative Assistant Grant Shimada <br />Call to Order at 11:00 a.m. <br />Citizen Comments – There were no citizen comments. <br />Public Website/Intranet Update – Discussion <br />Diagram Inc. continues to make steady progress on the County’s new public website. Assistant <br />IT Director Zane Kinney reports that he’s very pleased with their work and with how the website <br />is turning out. Mr. Kinney will soon begin scheduling training for departments – a date has not <br />been chosen yet. <br />IT Director Doug Fessler and Mr. Kinney have been working on plans to implement Microsoft <br />SharePoint to replace the County’s in-house built intranet platform. Mr. Fessler and Mr. Kinney <br />have met with StoneShare Inc., a consulting firm who specializes in supporting small <br />government organizations to configure and deploy SharePoint.
