We were instructed to take the mucky non yielding clay materiel down to a solid base <br />which in this case on the upper footing on the stadium arena seating in the southe@st corner had a hefty over excavation to it. With 6 <br />in lifts were installed. In the same area there was a tapered off of the previously noted build where the over excavation was not as <br />deep with a 20 ft x 4.6ft x 1ft build. In the case with the builds being so deep the 1 ft perimeter over build was slightly bigger to a 1.5ft <br />on the east side of the footing to account for edge sluffing off to create a solid base.
