Ellensburg becomes a <br />creative tech hub/training center. <br />Leveraging the location being collocated between college and city. <br />A multi-pronged approach to address many needs and industries. The <br />facility could be organized such that the spaces can be flexible. <br />Retain higher education from CWU from start to finish <br />Fresh out of CWU tech jobs. Ag manufacturing or any manufacturing so <br />it can change. Restaurants over there seem to disconnect downtown and <br />campus. <br />The exponential groMh concept is inspiring. Serves to enhance and support (worKorce <br />training, etc.) <br />Providing financial and facility support to get involved in the early planning <br />and initial implementation in the community. <br />Capitalize on existing industries in Kittitas County and pull from CWU <br />grads/programs <br />Local partners, entry level tech jobs/education <br />Are there businesses we can partner with? <br />QUESTION 3 How mighf busrnesses in this building contribute to finding <br />places for STEAM graduates to make a living wage here in this <br />community instead of leaving for other markets? <br />STEAM businesses in the building need to be connected and contributing, <br />placing interns and supporting opportunities for new businesses, existing <br />businesses, growth, etc, <br />Recruitment and retention.
