<br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 19, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Resolution to Authorize Chair <br />Signature on Amendment No. 3 to Professional Services <br />Agreement with Inter-Fluve, Inc. for Lower Kittitas Reach <br />Floodplain Reconnection Project Restoration Engineering, <br />Design, and Permitting Services. <br />___________________________________________________________________________________ <br />BACKGROUND: Resolution 2024-155 selected Inter-Fluve, Inc. for <br />restoration engineering, design, and permitting services for <br />the Lower Kittitas Reach Floodplain Reconnection Project <br />and authorized the Public Works Water Resource Manager <br />to negotiate and execute the professional services <br />agreement. During the April 27, 2026, Public Works Study <br />Session, staff briefed the Board of County Commissioners <br />on the need to implement Amendment No. 3 to <br />Professional Services Agreement with Inter-Fluve, Inc. and <br />received direction to prepare enabling documents. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Authorize Chair Signature on <br />Amendment No. 3 to Professional Services Agreement with <br />Inter-Fluve, Inc. for Lower Kittitas Reach Floodplain <br />Reconnection Project Restoration Engineering, Design, and <br />Permitting Services. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return two (2) originals to Public Works. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution and Amendment No. 3 <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Arden Thomas, Water Resource Program Manager.
