While supporting emergency response <br />efforts aligns with our core mission (and we have experience <br />assisting with various emergency situations) this opportunity would <br />formalize our role within an established response plan and place us <br />on an official call list. <br />At present, we do not have a formalized agreement or coordinated <br />procedures with partner agencies for mass evacuation and <br />sheltering operations, so this a great opportunity to gain alignment. <br />As a first step, I will complete a preliminary assessment survey to <br />determine whether our facilities meet the Red Cross requirements <br />for inclusion.
