Property Tax Parcel numbers: 646434 <br />2. Narrative project description: <br />Proiect involves constructing -a residential driveway to access the property. Due to steep existing topography and <br />Elevation differences between the roadway and the buildable area, the purposed driveway exceeds standard grade <br />Limits, ranging from approximately 19% to 30%. A variance is requested to allow the increased grade. If granted <br />this variance would not be detrimental to the surrounding areas, it is a quiter neighborhood and will not impact the <br />welfare. <br />3. Provision of road standards for which this variance is requested and the way in which you wish <br />to vary from the standards: <br />This variance request pertains to the county road standard limiting driveway access grades to a maximum of 10% <br />with the first 20ft not to exceed 6%. The proposed driveway exceeds these standards, with grades ranging from <br />19-30%. The variance is requesting to allow construction of driveway as proposed due to site constraints. <br />Reason for the variance request: <br />Variance is requested due to the steep natural topography of the site and the elevation difference between the <br />roadway and the buildable area. These physical constraints limit the ability to design a driveway that meets <br />standard grade requirements. We hired Hi -Line homes to build our house and guide us through this difficult <br />proccess. Their project manager shot elevations and determined the grade of the garage, now we are in the final steps <br />and we are being told our driveway is to steep and we need to request this variance. As we are new to this, we don't understand <br />ow we macle it this tar into e process without as being Caught sooner, we are pleacling with you to cons+ er is variance. <br />4.
