Program Name Program Purpose <br />STATE SOURCES <br />Pedestrian & Bicycle Program WSDOT offers funding to improve the transportation system to enhance safety and mobility <br />for people who choose to walk or bike. The purpose of the program is to eliminate pedestrian <br />and bicyclist fatal and serious injury traffic crashes, increase the availability of pedestrian <br />and bicycle facilities that provide low traffic stress and serve all ages and abilities, and <br />increase the number of people that choose to walk and bike for transportation. <br />Complete Streets Program (CSP)Financed by the Transportation Improvement Board (TIB), the Complete Streets Program is a <br />funding opportunity for cities and counties that have an adopted complete streets ordinance. <br />Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP)The Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) focuses on infrastructure projects with <br />nationally recognized crash reduction factors (CRFs).
