Long-Term Strategies to Improve Community Mobility and Access <br />In addition to the priority location improvements <br />described above, the stakeholder group supports <br />more transformative improvements that would <br />greatly improve community mobility and access in <br />Snoqualmie Pass. <br />Chief among these more transformative improvements include the <br />construction of an I-90 frontage road that would serve as an alternative <br />to SR 906 and construction of a parking structure that could increase <br />parking supply in a more efficient manner and potentially spur <br />economic development in the Pass area. These ideas transcend the <br />types of treatments typically identified in an SS4A application, but <br />they are major infrastructure enhancements that would transform <br />community mobility and access in Snoqualmie Pass and could reinforce <br />the multimodal safety treatments outlined in this plan. <br />63 Snoqualmie Pass Comprehensive Safety Plan | Kittitas County
