Kittitas County Agreement for Services (rev. 5/14/25) <br />Page 3 of 20 <br /> <br /> ATTACHMENT “A” <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Kittitas County District Courts’ Behavioral Health Court (BHC) Agrees to: <br />A. Refer BHC applicants to Contractor for BHC evaluation and recommendation for program participation. <br />B. Provide appropriate and accurate information on referred applicants. <br />C. Provided appropriate support for the Contractor liaison to accomplish their needed services. <br />D. Designate Treatment Court Coordinator, Emily Brown or other individual assigned as such by the Court <br />as contact person and liaison with Contractor. <br />E. Provide a budget of up to $25,000 for 2026 calendar year and $25,000 for 2027 calendar year for <br />services provided by Contractor as described in Exhibit B. <br />F. Pay invoice upon receipt from Contractor for services within 30 working days. <br />Contractor Agrees to: <br />A. Submit properly prepared itemized invoices monthly through email to the treatment court coordinator. <br />Contractor shall maintain sufficient backup documentation of expenses under this Agreement. No <br />reimbursement shall be made to any invoice submitted after May 1, 2027. <br />B. Designate Christopher Moore (Christopher.moore@comphc.org) or designee as Contractor’s contact <br />person and liaison with BHC and Dan Ladd (Daniel.ladd@comphc.org) as contact person regarding to <br />billing or contract. <br />C. Provide the listed services described in Exhibit A. <br />D. Provide an invoice to the BHC within 30 days of service completion as listed in Exhibit A. <br />E. Submit final billings no later than 30 days after 12/21/2027. <br />F. To acknowledge that participants may refuse Contractors services unless such services are mandated by <br />law, including a court order. <br />G. That the Contractor liaison’s activities will not go beyond those duties as approved by BHC and <br />Contractor except as otherwise provided by law. <br />Contractor and BHC mutually Agree to: <br />A. Maintain an open line of communication between BHC staff and Contractor staff for sharing pertinent <br />information about participants. <br />B. To have a schedule that is flexible and consistent with BHC operations and maintain their credential <br />status as described in Exhibit C. <br />C. Contractor and BHC shall comply with their established regulations regarding confidentiality including <br />federal HIPAA regulations and 42 CFR Part 2. The parties shall sign and incorporate the “Business <br />Associate Agreement” pertaining to HIPAA compliance as in integral portion of renewal of this <br />Agreement before engaging in performance of this Agreement. <br />D. Not recruit for employment nor initiate contracts with employees of the other party during the period of <br />this Agreement. <br />E. That specific services may be canceled or rescheduled for good cause by either party without incurring <br />any cost under this Agreement. “Good cause” includes security or safety concerns, including unforeseen
