DISCUSSION: <br />For the past several years the capital plan has included projects funded through FAA <br />discretionary funding. This includes the parallel taxiway, runway narrowing and Taxiway <br />lighting. Projects were spread across several years, allowing for smaller portions of <br />funding and local match. <br /> <br />The parallel taxiway construction is the highest cost project on the plan. To prepare for <br />the construction efforts have gone into initial development and mitigation. This has <br />included a wetland mitigation project for wetland impacts; environmental permits; and <br />initial design work. This preparation work had been set up to address the phasing of the <br />project which would have included subsequent runway narrowing, stormwater and <br />lighting as separate projects. The current proposal is to combine the phases into a single <br />project. FAA has shared their support for these projects and the associated funding. <br /> <br />The current project being developed as part of the CIP is the hangar taxilane complex. <br />The project scope is to construct additional taxilane areas which will allow for future <br />hangar space expansion. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />Upcoming capital projects will be budgeted in their respective fiscal year <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
