integrates artistic skitt-buitding with socia[-emotionat tearning (SEL) to support students' <br />personat and emotionat growth. The scope includes: <br />. Hiring a Contractor: The District witt contract with a quatified community arts <br />organization or teaching artist to detiver a speciatized curriculum. This curricu[um witl <br />be based on the Washington State Arts Learning Standards for grades K-12 and the <br />benchmarks for Sociat Emotionat Learning as taid out by Office of Superintendent of <br />Pubtic lnstruction. The arts instruction witt teach the fottowing: <br />o Emotionat Regulation & Mindfulness: Using the creative process (e.9., <br />drawing, painting, scutpting) as a tool for grounding, stress reduction, and non- <br />verbat expression of complex emotions. <br />o ldentity & Sel,f-Esteem: Projects designed to hetp students explore their <br />personal identity, buitd confidence in their abil.ities, and devetop a sense of <br />agency. <br />o Interpersonat Effectiveness: Cottaborative art projects that require <br />communication, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives. <br />o purchasing Materiats: Acquisition of art suppties and tools necessary to ensure <br />successfuI detivery of the visuat arts curricutum for att participating students. <br />Under Exhi b it " B' CO M P ENSAI/ON <br />Any unspent funds that were to be spent during the2025 contract year may <br />be carried over to |une 30, 2026, edrtd, additional funding under this <br />agreement shall also include $4,950 <br />2.
