KITTITAS COU NTY AMENDMENT TO: <br />ProfessionaI Services Agreement <br />This Amendment ("Amendment") is made as of December 31,2025, by and between Kittitas <br />County (hereinafter "County"), a potiticat subdivision of the State of Washington, and Damman <br />Schoot District (hereinafter "Contractor"). <br />WHEREAS, the parties entered into an agreement dated January 1,2025 (the 'Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the AgreemenU <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as fo[[ows: <br />1. Funding to support participation in Fifth Grade Gamp' <br />The end of f ifth grade marks a key transitionat mitestone for etementary school students in <br />their educational. and personat journey as they move to middte schoo[. Fifth-$rade camp <br />which takes ptace atLazy F camp in Kittitas Gounty is designed to chal'tenge and buitd <br />social, and emotionat resitience as they prepare to make this transition. This experience <br />buitds mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal <br />effectiveness. They participate in activities such as the ropes course, group based <br />creative skits and hikes. For many this overnight camp is the first time that they have <br />been away from their family overnight. For allthis experience builds their social and <br />emotional skills and helps prepare them for Middle school. <br />Funds would support student attendance fees <br />2. Visual,Arts and Social,-EmotionalWellness Program <br />lmpl.ementation of a new comprehensive art program designed to foster individuat <br />expression, mentaI wel.t-being, and sociaI connection through the visuaI arts.
