The original plat dedicated the roads,
streets and alleys within the plat for the use of the public. At the time of plat approval, the
County did not adopt the roadways as on-system roadways. In 1996 a Road Improvement
District(RID) was approved which included the Hyak Estates Plat. Through resolution
96-40 the RID was established and upon completion of the improvements the roadways
within the RID became part of the County Road System. Through the RID process,
Innsbruck Drive became County Right-of-Way. Innsbruck Drive is a dead-end roadway
which does not have a standard turnaround constructed.
Public Works Study Session Staff Report 2026
