This immersive experience will feature a professionally produced drone light show designed to captivate audiences of all ages and attract winter tourism to Kittitas County during the off-season. The show will be produced in partnership with a drone show production company. Customizable shows typically feature 100– 200 drones, choreographed to music and animated storytelling, offering a safe, eco-friendly alternative to traditional fireworks. The production includes full setup, launch coordination, and takedown, with FAA-compliant flight operations and visual observers ensuring safety and visibility. This event is part of Suncadia’s broader initiative to expand winter programming and drive off-season visitation. The requested $40,000 in LTAC funding will support production costs, marketing efforts, and operational logistics. The event is scheduled during the off-season, specifically Mid-December to encouraging overnight stays and extended visitation within the month of December.
