<br />Our 2026 marketing strategy is designed to reach new audiences, strengthen our regional presence, and encourage longer
<br />stays in Kittitas County. Building on lessons from 2023, 2024, and 2025, we will use a diversified mix of digital, broadcast, and
<br />print media to showcase the Ellensburg Rodeo as both a premier sporting event and a gateway to Central Washington
<br />adventure.
<br />Digital promotion will be the cornerstone of our outreach. We’ll run targeted campaigns on Social Media platforms using geo-
<br />fencing and advertising pixels to track engagement and ticket conversions. We are working on adding a “Plan Your Stay” feature
<br />to our website and newsletters with the vision of links directing visitors to Kittitas County lodging, dining, and recreation
<br />resources.
<br />To reach traditional audiences, we’ll place ads on screens, radio, streaming services, and in lifestyle and travel publications. Our
<br />earned media strategy includes press releases, interviews, and partnerships with influencers who highlight the Rodeo’s unique
<br />mix of history, excitement, and hospitality.
<br />We will continue to work closely with the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce and regional tourism partners to align our
<br />promotions with countywide initiatives. By embedding trackable links and pixels, we can measure how Rodeo advertising drives
<br />traffic to local tourism websites, lodging reservations, and visitor experiences.
<br />Some onsite publications will feature messages encouraging guests to explore different locations before and after Rodeo
<br />performances. The combination of targeted outreach and on-the-ground engagement ensures visitors see the Ellensburg Rodeo
<br />not just as an event, but as the centerpiece of a memorable Kittitas County getaway.
