We proactively reach out to various hotels and hospitality establishments, including hotels in Cle Elum, to gather
their insights based on their own observations and the data they have collected. These businesses often have a good sense of
the percentage of visitors or tourists who enjoy attending Roslyn events and activities, which allows us to generate estimates.
Engaging with visitors and local partners in a relaxed and comfortable setting helps us gather valuable insights and honest
feedback, which can be challenging to obtain through more formal survey methods. This informal approach fosters open
communication and trust, making businesses and tourists more willing to share their experiences, suggestions, and concerns.
While these responses may be anecdotal or approximate, they provide a meaningful snapshot of the current visitor landscape.
Additionally, our collaboration with the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce amplifies the reach and reliability of our efforts. By
working together, we can pool resources, share insights, and develop a broader understanding of visitor trends and preferences.
The chamber ’s network allows us to access a broader range of data points, helping us to refine our estimates and develop more
accurate, actionable information.
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Part 5
