KITTITAS COUNTY SOLID WASTE ON-CALL <br />CLE ELUM TRANSFER STATION FRONT ENTRANCE DESIGN AND TANK REPLACEMENT <br />SEPTEMBER 2025 Temporary Utilities <br /> <br /> 015100 - 1 <br />SECTION 015100 <br />TEMPORARY UTILITIES <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 REFERENCE STANDARDS <br />A. 29 CFR 1926 - Safety and Health Regulations for Construction; Current Edition. <br />1.02 TEMPORARY ELECTRICITY <br />A. Cost: By Contractor. <br />B. Provide temporary electric feeder from existing electrical service. Do not disrupt Owner’s need <br />for continuous power service. <br />C. Provide separate metering and reimburse Owner for cost of energy used. <br />D. Provide main service disconnect and over-current protection at convenient location and meter. <br />1.03 TEMPORARY LIGHTING FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES <br />A. Provide and maintain LED, compact fluorescent, or high-intensity discharge lighting as suitable <br />for the application for construction operations in accordance with requirements of 29 CFR 1926 <br />and authorities having jurisdiction. <br />B. Provide branch wiring from power source to distribution boxes with lighting conductors, pigtails, <br />and lamps as required. <br />C. Maintain lighting and provide routine repairs. <br />1.04 TEMPORARY HEATING <br />A. Cost of Energy: By Contractor. <br />B. Provide heating devices and heat as needed to maintain specified conditions for construction <br />operations. <br />1.05 TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE <br />A. Cost of Water Used: By Contractor. <br />B. Provide and maintain suitable quality water service for construction operations at time of project <br />mobilization. <br />C. Extend branch piping with outlets located so water is available by hoses with threaded <br />connections.
