KITTITAS COUNTY SOLID WASTE ON-CALL <br />CLE ELUM TRANSFER STATION TANK REPLACEMENT <br /> SEPTEMBER 2025 Summary <br /> 011000 - 1 <br /> <br />SECTION 011000 <br />SUMMARY <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 PROJECT <br />A. Project Name: Cle Elum Transfer Station Tank Replacement. <br />B. The Project consists of the removal and replacement of an existing underground 5,000 gallon <br />holding tank for the storage of graywater, and corrosive and reactive liquids. All existing <br />connections to the tank (4” sanitary sewer pipe, 2” vent pipe, conduit and alarm system, etc) will <br />need to be disconnected and removed as necessary for excavation. A new tank is to be <br />installed at the same location and all appurtenances rec onnected. Backfill and testing per <br />manufacturers recommendation. <br />1.02 OWNER OCCUPANCY <br />A. The Transfer Station will remain in operation during construction. <br />B. Cooperate with Owner to minimize conflict and to facilitate Owner's operations. <br />C. Schedule the Work to accommodate Owner’s operations. <br />1.03 CONTRACTOR USE OF SITE AND PREMISES <br />A. Construction Operations: Limited to areas noted on Drawings or as coordinated with owner. <br />1. Locate and conduct construction activities in ways that will limit disturbance to site. <br />B.
