Completed Course: Compacted, unyielding, free from irregularities, with <br />smooth, tight, even surface, true to grade, line, and cross-section. <br />B. Completed Lift: Compacted with uniform cross-section thickness. <br />C. Standard Specifications: When referenced in this section, shall mean the <br />2023 Washington State Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications <br />for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Informational Submittals: <br />1. Certified Test Results on Source Materials: Submit copies from <br />commercial testing laboratory 20 days prior to delivery of materials to <br />Project showing materials meeting the physical qualities specified. <br />2. Certified results of in-place density tests from independent testing <br />agency. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />2.01 BASE COURSE <br />A. As specified for Base Course in Division 9-03.9(3) of the Standard <br />Specifications. <br />B. Clean, hard durable, crushed stone graded from coarse to fine containing <br />enough fines to bind material when compacted. <br />2.02 TOP COURSE <br />A. As specified for Top Course and Keystone in Division 9-03.9(3) of the <br />Standard Specifications. <br />B. Physical Qualities: Same as for base course.
