Do not injure or deface vegetation that is not designated for removal. <br />3.02 LIMITS <br />A. As follows, but not to extend beyond Project limits. <br />1. Excavation 5 feet beyond top of cut slopes. <br />2. Trench Excavation: 4 feet from trench centerline, regardless of actual <br />trench width. <br />3. Fill: <br />a. Clearing and Grubbing: 5 feet beyond toe of permanent fill. <br />b. Stripping and Scalping: 2 feet beyond toe of permanent fill. <br />4. Waste Disposal: <br />a. Clearing: 5 feet beyond perimeter. <br />b. Scalping and Stripping: Not required. <br />c. Grubbing: Around perimeter as necessary for neat finished <br />appearance. <br />5. Other Areas: As shown. <br />B. Remove rubbish, trash, and junk from entire area within Project limits. <br />3.03 CLEARING <br />A. Clear areas within limits shown or specified. <br />B. Trees are not to be removed without County approval. Trees approved for <br />removal, fell trees so that they fall away from facilities and vegetation not <br />designated for removal. <br />C. Cut stumps not designated for grubbing flush with ground surface. <br />D. Cut off shrubs, brush, weeds, and grasses to within 2 inches of ground surface. <br />3.04 GRUBBING <br />A. Grub areas within limits shown or specified. <br />3.05 STRIPPING <br />A. Do not remove topsoil until after scalping is completed. <br />B. Strip areas within limits to minimum depths shown or specified. Do not <br />remove subsoil with topsoil.
