ATTN: General Contractor
Concrete Proposal - RFP #2
Date: 1/19/2026
Project
Ellensburg Rodeo Improvements
Project Location
Ellensburg,
Washington
Item Work Description Quantity Unit Unit Price Amount (US $)
1 Flat Stair Pads Below Grandstands to Include:
Additional 5 Hours x 12 Guys x 3 Original Pours (Additional Time for Hand Screel 180 H R $ 94.00 $ 16,920.00
Additional 11 Hours x 12 Guys x 1 Additional Pour 132 HR $ 94.00 $ 12,408.00
Concrete Pump Truck for Additional Pour 1 EA $ 3,572.00 $ 3,572.00
Includes additional time to identify stair locations using provided survey points, maintain boundries of flatness &
additional finishing time to confirm proper elevations at each stair pad location. A roller screed provides flat
concrete with less labor. There are too many elevations to be met for a roller screed to be practical. Originally,
there was a ridge along the seating -retaining wall, 5 catch basins to meet, & forms along the outside of the slab.
This has added 32 elevation points that must be met within the center of the slab. This was not a small change.
Jones Concrete & Excavation
Customer:
Estimator -Carson Chester
Authorized Signature: 541-861-8060
Name: Sub Total $ 32,900.00
Date of Acceptance:
SALES TAX 0.00% 0.00
TOTAL $ 32,900.00
Concrete contractor time to layout flat boundaries Is in addition to the survey time. CCC survey will locate the corners of each
flat area but concrete subcontractor will still need to do the work of setting up forms, setting up string lines, set grade rods, and
confirm exact elevations.
The first item captures additional manpower required due to the change in screed styles for the crew as a whole. Screeding by hand requires
an additional pour. Screeding by hand will increase truck spacing, pour out time, and screed time for all pours at the concourse slab. The
second item captures additional finishing time at each stair location. The third item is associated with the pump truck for the separate pour.
Originally Jones was planning to roller screed the entire slab but these flattened areas
are too small to roller screed and must be done by hand. Please review last
comments and proposal as well. Concrete proposal specified switch from roller
screed to hand screed, not the other way around which seems like was a
misunderstanding during the last review comments.
www.JonesConcrete.pro 1/1
