KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 10, 2026 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Discussion on possibility of entering into a interlocal agreement with <br />City of Ellensburg <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg reached out to discuss the possibility of <br />entering into an interlocal agreement for the County Maintenance <br />Department to help with maintenance services related to their lease <br />with Grace Church (for the Cold Weather Shelter). The types of <br />maintenance would relate to plumbing, lighting, doors and <br />miscellaneous small maintenance items. <br />The City has gone out for and RFP for these services and did not <br />receive any responses. <br />INTERACTION: City of Ellensburg, and County Maintenance staff. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Discuss on the possibility of interlocal agreement for Maintenance <br />service for Cold Weather Shelter. <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Facilities and Waste Operations Director <br />
