arc rnanageo in t-und Mb by rublic Worts. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />At their February 18, 2026 regularly .scheduled COG meeting, COG received requests for <br />funding of two projects. funding request is for the use of the Distressed County Sales and <br />Use Tax. <br />The City of Roslyn presented to COG their proposal for repair and replacement of the <br />City's clear wells. The City of Roslyn has two clear wells which are part of their water <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Pubiic Works "work Session Staff Repon,". 2026 <br />infrastructure which serves both the City of Roslyn and Water District 2 (Ronald). The <br />clear wells provide disinfection contact time and equalizing storage for their water <br />system. Repairs are required to one clear well and the second clear well needs to be <br />replaced. The City of Roslyn was awarded $125,000.00 from the Public Works Board to <br />assist with the project. COG supported the City of Roslyn request of up to S1,500,000.00 <br />of Distressed County Sales and Use Tax for repairs and replacement of their ,clear wells. <br />Also at the February 18, 2026 regular meeting of COG also received an update of the <br />C'WIJ Technology Transfer Center Feasibility (Old Heat) project. COG initially <br />supported the project through matching funds to the Washington State Community <br />Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) grant.. COG continued to express their support of <br />the project by recommending an additional S20,O00.00 of Distressed County Sales and <br />Use Tax for expanding work on the project. This work include: a construction cost <br />estimate for developing architecture plans for the Old Heat building, into a warm shell and <br />developing the capital stacking frarnework which will help develop private -public <br />partnerships for future. build out of the building. <br />
