Progress <br />continues on several remaining priorities, including current capital <br />projects such as the grandstands reconstruction and development of <br />a new RV park. <br />A review of the existing Master Plan indicates that while a number <br />of objectives remain relevant and necessary, others are now <br />outdated or no longer feasible due to factors such as land <br />availability and evolving expectations for future use of the site. <br />The Event Center Director is seeking guidance on whether to <br />pursue proposals for updating the Master Plan at this time, and <br />whether this effort should be included as a budget priority for 2027 <br />within the annual list of project requests. <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas Valley Event Center <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Direction on updating the KVEC Master Plan <br />ATTACHMENT(S): None <br />LEAD STAFF: Kady Porterfield, CFE — Event Center Director <br />
