Any proposed changes to the grant application, such as format or hosting location/medium, <br />mustbe communicated to the Clerk of the ConsolidatedLodging Tax Advisory Committee <br />("CLTAC") no later than Decernber of the preceding year' <br />r The CLTAC Clerkwill make reasonable efforts ts asssmmodate amunicipality's requests; <br />however, any requests that exceed staff capacity may be deferred at the Clerk's discretion' <br />r The CLATC Clerk shall approve aad prepare the final version of the consolidated <br />application based on the feedback from each municipality. After approval, applicants for <br />consolidated lodging tax grants will be required to submit applications to Kinitas Counry. <br />B. Coordinated Schedule. The schedule for application deadli.nes, review and awards <br />wil1be coordinated by the municipalities. <br />C. Coordinated Funding. Each participatrng municipal-ity will make available l3o/o <br />of their annual lodging tax collections to be awarded through the consoiidated lodging tax granl <br />process. The flrnds provided by each municipalily will be noticed publicly for award consideration, <br />aud each municipaiity providing funding for the coordinated process sha1l be glaranteed grant <br />awards will be made for applicalions that will directly impact that jwisdiction in an amount equal <br />to or greater than the fimding level which has been commi6sd (subject to qualifying appiications). <br />D. Streamlined Application Review and Award Process. Lodging tzx grant <br />applications will be processed as follows: <br />1) Cateqorize apolicatigns. Applicants may apply for one or both fitndiog categories. <br />Applications will be categorized as follows: <br />a. New Projects/Events. This category is for applications from events/projects <br />which are within the first fotu (4) years of existence. Applications may also <br />be considered in this category for established projects/events which have <br />previously received funding but are proposing a new or expanded <br />project/event which will increase tourism as part of an ongoing <br />ProjecVevent. <br />b. Ongoing ProjectlEvent Support. This category is for applications &om <br />established projects/events (ongoing for more than four (4) years) which <br />may request continuing support. Grant awards arc limited in this category <br />to no greater than I 0% of the projects's/event's expense budget' <br />Rerierv, Rankins and Recommendations bv LTAC's. The Counry will compile and <br />distribute all applications to the municipalities for review by each LTAC (or <br />appointee(s) if no LTAC) for review, ralking, and firnding recommendation, whj.ch <br />will then be processed as follows: <br />a. Each municipality's LTAC (or appointee(s) if no LTAC) will review every <br />application and assign it a rating based upon an agreed scoring system. <br />b.
