2019 <br />An old culvert on Teanaway Road, no.06051-(OB) spanning Story Creek was replaced with a new four- <br />sided 19-ft box culvert, no. 06052-(OB). Work was completed in October of 2019. <br />Manastash Road Bridge no.76131 replacement project was completed in the spring of 2019, with Bridge <br />no.76132. The 70-foot bridge deck is covered with a waterproof membrane. The deck and approach slabs <br />are covered with 0.25-in of HMA. <br />No. 6 Rd no.79051-(OB) replacement was completed in the spring of 2019. The new structure, no. 79052 <br />consists of 15-in deep precast concrete slab units. The driving surface is a 3-in reinforced concrete deck <br />that is 32 ft wide. <br />2018 <br />University Way Road Bridge no.88341 over BNRR was repaired by a contractor. The work consisted of <br />constructing approach slabs, concrete substructure repairs, minor drainage modifications, and other <br />work. This work was completed during the summer of 2018. <br />2017 <br />Bar 14 no. 89041 was reduced to single lane traffic after spring flooding caused debris buildup at the <br />bridge. After consultants inspected the bridge, it was found to be functionally obsolete from a hydraulic <br />standpoint. The bridge was then removed in October. <br />Durr Rd Br. no. 68161 removed from Kittitas County inventory after research of ownership confirmed that <br />it belonged to WDFW. <br />Naneum Road Bridge over Highline Canal no.89091 had a crushing center timber cap and scour under the <br />south footing discovered during the 2016 inspection. Repairs performed by WSDOT Bridge Crew replaced <br />the center timber pier, placed grout to support undermined south footing, and installed riprap in front of <br />footing to prevent future scour. <br />North Fork Teanaway Road over Teanaway River Br. no.16203 had the entire south bridge railing broken <br />off at the anchor points. Temporary concrete barriers were placed, and the bridge was reduced to one <br />lane until repairs could be completed. Repairs were completed in November of 2017. The road has been <br />restored to two lanes. <br />2016 <br />North Ferguson Road Bridge no. 79091 over Town Ditch has been removed and Town Ditch is now in a <br />new siphon. <br />Silica Road Bridge no.60223-(OB) over Pump Ditch was removed and replaced by County Forces with a <br />steel single lane Big R Bridge. <br />An old culvert on Via Kachess Road has been replaced with a new concrete box culvert no.13071-(OB) by <br />a Contractor and County Forces. <br />An old culvert on Manastash Road has been replaced with new pre -stressed concrete bridge no.77171 <br />Kittitas County 2025 Annual Bridge Report <br />
