Memo page 3 of 4 <br />Recommendations: <br />1. Provide a common grounding electrode mounted on one of the north interior side of the <br />west wall between axis EA and DA Figure 3, below, shows an approximate location. The <br />common grounding electrode should be connected to the newly -added supplemental <br />grounding rod <br />2. The new common grounding electrodes should be at least'/4 inch thick by 2 inches wide. <br />The length should accommodate four connection points. <br />3. The contractor shall provide an alligator or hand clamp with a 5-foot grounding conductor <br />for bonding the common grounding conductor to the tank to be filled and filling tank. <br />4.
