BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION No.2026-003 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF REVISING THE 2026 SALARY MATRIX FOR REGULAR NON-UNION COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br /> WHEREAS, Kittitas County has established Personnel Policy 5.1 Wage Administration which addresses the <br /> process by which wages for regular non-union employees may be evaluated and adjusted;and <br /> WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners deems it in the best interest ofthe County and its employees <br /> to provide regular non-union staff with a cost-of-living adjustment(COLA);and <br /> WHEREAS, On October 14,2025 the Board passed Resolution 2025-190 to increase wage scales on the non- <br /> union salary matrix by 3%effective 1/01/2026;and <br /> WHEREAS, The County's upgraded payroll system calculated the 2026 salary increases,yielding slightly <br /> different figures than the adopted matrix spreadsheet;and <br /> WHEREAS, The County desires to use the calculation methodology contained in the payroll system to <br /> automate the wage change process,reducing human error and saving staff time; <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that effective 1/01/2026,the 2026 salary matrix for regular non-union County <br /> employees is revised to reflect the figures calculated in the County's payroll system. <br /> DATED this 13Th day ofJanuarv,2026. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITASCO TY,WASHINGTON <br /> Coll <br /> Cory rig , air <br /> SEAL <br /> �"u V� <br /> c Vice Chair <br /> 3 <br /> 1>1LYT1erk of AA Board Laura-1Ts1ada ommissioner <br /> ❑Office Administrator <br />
