Page 1 of 1 <br />Information Technology “Study Session Staff Report”, 8/25/2025 <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />STAFF REPORT FOR <br />STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />Information Technology <br /> <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: 8/25/25 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Request for Board Direction concerning the Public Website project <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Board Direction <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Zane Kinney <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />IT recommends the Board select a Board Member to attend an upcoming virtual meeting <br />with Diagram. Additionally, IT is asking the Board to recommend using the attached <br />Project Mission, Vision, and Goals document (attached) to provide the project team with <br />guidance throughout the site development process. <br /> <br />BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br />Diagram will be holding a virtual meeting the Core Website Project Team, IT and various <br />County stakeholders soon. The purpose of this meeting is to provide Diagram with the <br />necessary information to begin building the County site. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In 2023 the Board directed IT to work on modernizing CAMAS. IT determined that <br />moving to a new public website was a key part of this initiative. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Discovery phase of the Public Website project will begin soon. The Management Team <br />will be informed of this meeting and will be asked to attend some of sessions of this two <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Legal consultation? No <br />Finance consulted?
